Meet the Founder of Victorious Light
After years of following the Lord, studying the Word, and teaching her own children and others, Laura experienced a deeper calling into ministry. In the wake of unimaginable tragedy—her oldest son’s passing in 2019—God spoke Habakkuk 3:17–19 to her, leading her through grief with supernatural joy. Dreams and prophetic words previously forgotten began unfolding, revealing that the Lord had long been preparing her for a global assignment. During her time at Bible College, Laura began writing children’s Bible lessons, eventually creating an in-depth, Christ-centered curriculum called Finding Jesus, which highlights Jesus in every story from Genesis to Revelation.
What is
Victorious Light?
A quickly expanding ministry founded to help children find Jesus in every story of the Bible.
What began as Wednesday night teachings blossomed into Victorious Light, an international ministry with materials now reaching churches and schools in over 25 countries. With divine connections in places like Turkey, Kenya, and a training of global pastors in Dallas, Laura’s curriculum—rooted in scripture and intentionally designed to transcend cultural barriers—is being translated into multiple languages and offered freely to ministries worldwide. Backed by prophetic confirmation, divine provision, and a commitment to reach the entire body of Christ, Laura’s journey reflects a life surrendered to God’s call, carrying His light to the nations.

A few words about the artist.
In our lessons we use illustrations by Alexander Skibelsky.
Alexander Skibelsky was born in Ukraine in 1977. In childhood and adolescence he was fond of drawing and wanted to become an artist. But at the age of 16, a change occurred in his life. Alex was baptized and dedicated his life to God. A few years later, he received a bachelor of theology and became a pastor. Thus, ministry became his main profession.
But all this time, Alex did not forget about his talent as an artist. He illustrated many children’s books for Christian publishing houses in Ukraine and around the world.
Currently, Alexander serves as a pastor in Vancouver, Washington, USA. He also continues to help illustrate children’s projects and draws his own comic book series about the life of Jesus.
