Laura Baca is a student of the Bible with a heart for reaching the next generation with the truth and love of God’s Word. She is a wife, mother, teacher and Marmee who desired to write a curriculum to help children find Jesus in every story of the Bible. These lessons have been prayerfully developed to speak to children across global cultures and backgrounds. Laura is committed to offering these materials free to anyone, anywhere in the world.

Finding Jesus desires to reach all nations, and all cultures around the globe. It is written in a universal way that is designed to resonate with all cultures and people groups.
A Global Curriculum
Finding Jesus is not attempting to write doctrine. The Church is made up of the body of Christ, and these lessons focus on the common belief
of all Christ followers, which is Jesus. The lessons are presented in such a way that the teacher can draw her own conclusions, and present the materials in a way that lines up with her personal beliefs.

What makes Finding Jesus
different from other children's
Christian curriculums?
Finding Jesus is a completely
Christ-centered curriculum. It is designed to find the prophecies in the Old Testament that point forward to Jesus, and in the New Testament to point back to the Old Testament to see what prophecies are being fulfilled by Jesus. Jesus IS the Word of God, and He is found in every part of the Bible.
Christ Centered
Illustrations and coloring pages are provided for younger children. Memory verses are provided for the teacher to use that are relevant to the story. If desired, the teacher may make copies to distribute to the students for further learning opportunities.

Finding Jesus is centered around discussion. The children and teacher are both encouraged to ask a lot of questions. Questions help us process information, form ideas and better understand the material.

Pray for the children that are learning from these lessons that they have a greater understanding of God’s Word, and that their lives are transformed by a relationship with Jesus Christ and a better understanding of his kingdom.
We have volunteers actively working on several translations!
Currently we have teams translating into Spanish, Luo, Indonesian, and Portuguese. Soon to follow are Thai, Tamil, French, Cebuano, Hindi, Lithuanian, Malagasy, Hindi, Swahili and Afrikaans. We are always in need of translators. If you would like to volunteer your time to help us translate, please contact us directly.
